Backpacking Adventures

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to camp in a true wilderness area? Or sit at the edge of a fog-shrouded mountain meadow at daybreak waiting for that once-in-a-lifetime photo to present itself? Or discover a waterfall that few others have ever seen? What about hiking a difficult ascent to a mountain top to be rewarded by a spectacular panoramic view of the countryside? Do you enjoy both a physical and mental challenge in a wilderness setting? Then our backpacking trips will satisfy your need for adventure.
Your backpacking adventure can be set along the historic Appalachian Trail, or nestled in the Uwharrie Mountains of the Piedmont area of North Carolina. Perhaps you prefer a coastal hike to explore a National Seashore island like Cumberland Island, Georgia. Here you can explore a barrier island in its natural state and view one of the few remaining wild horse population in the US. Adventures await!
