Eagle Island

Everyone, if they really admit it, wants to explore Eagle Island. This island is a natural wonder and is just a few minutes away from Wilmington or Brunswick County. Eagles Island lies in the confluence of the Cape Fear and Brunswick Rivers in southeastern NC in the Lower Cape Fear River Basin. Eagles Island consists of approximately 3,100 acres situated between Wilmington and Leland. There are several adventure possibilities including an easy 5.5 mile kayaking adventure that is timed to take advantage of the falling tides, or a more adventurous 8 mile adventure for those who are seeking a larger adventure. On our adventure to Eagle Island you will also get a chance to see view the beauty of Sturgeon Creek. These adventures should take no longer than 2.5 to 4 hours from the time we leave the Sturgeon Creek Landing. So come and join us on your Eagle Island adventure and view the area wildlife in their natural habitat.
